Piston Pumps

A piston pump is a type of pump that uses the force created by a piston to transfer or pressurize a liquid from one place to another. The working principle of piston pumps is to suck and press the fluid with the reciprocating movement of the piston in the pump cylinder. As the piston retracts, the pressure in the cylinder drops and the suction valve opens. Thus, the fluid begins to fill the cylinder from the suction pipe. They are used in hydraulic systems to provide high-pressure oil flow.
